My Country’s Costume
I was watching the photographs taken at the Miss Universe national costume parade published in Herald Sun. I was surprised by the very peaceful costume of Israel. Although I have so many problems with what Israel does in Palestine, this picture is carved in my mind as another aspect of Israel.
It could be just a coincidence, but here is the picture of what’s happening in my country these days. The police tries to support a state-run costume which many women do not want to follow.
Yes, the following is the costume of my country. And I am so proud of all the women who fight for their very basic rights.

p.s. It was reported that in response to the police warnings and brutality toward women’s dress, some of them unveiled themselves and others are threatening to do the same.

The next revolution will happen by Iranian women in Iran…it will come a point that to live in such a disgraceful and shameful society will become intolerable. Iranian women are different than other Muslim nations, they will NOT stand for this animal behavior.

I am sorry for putting you in trouble. First of all as I said in the post, I am proud of all Iranian women who fight for their rights. There is a huge difference between the Iranian government and its people and I think the people have found the way to stop the oppressions. Last night we were talking about a similar situation which occurred 11 years ago. One of our friends was hit in head by a police officer because of her dress and no one dared to stop and help her. But now the people feel more responsibility and try to help and support the women.
The other point is you are right and Iran is very different from Afghanistan, Pakistan and most of its neighbors. As an example I could refer your friend to a BBC podcast about what would happen to a Pakistani woman if she tries to get divorce from her abusive husband.
I think in order to find the solution to our problems, in the first step we should be honest to ourselves and criticize ourself deeply. It is hard and bitter, but otherwise we would stay where we are.

As I said, I have a lot of critiques to what is happening in Israel and Palestine and I do not think what is going on there is right. By the way, I do know that there are some pacifist in Israel too who condemn the war.
You can call this hypocrisy, but it shows that they try to represent them self in another way. But our government does not have the same political sense and I, as an Iranian try my best to show the differences between the government and the Iranian people.
And again, I think the Iranian women have found their way to fight for their rights and they have started to ask for changes in the constitution law to consider their rights more fairly. I think hereafter the candidates would have to hear these voices or they lose a majority of the active voters.

As an Israeli, I just want to point that even that I’m proudly Zionist (yeah, that ugly word for some people) at least we have a democracy (no perfect one) and here as the most non-Moslem’s world, Moslems are seen as something weird, some kind of fanatic terrorists. But I strongly disagree with that point of view. I lived close to arabs in my country, and they are the same kind of people as us. I read constantly Arab and moslem articles around the internet and I found lots of good people among moslem people that want to build a better society respecting the others believes and rights. We all are humans, we all deserve to live in peace. I just strongly oppose those that want to impose their believes by force to others. Israel people is like all other people in the world, you find good people, no so good people and really nasty people here, like in all countries…
I have some good Palestinians friends, and they know my ideology, I know their ideology, but we respect each one believes and rights.
By the way I support a Democratic Palestinian State side by side with Israel. I don’t deny their rights.

About the Israelis against the last summer’s war, the statistics showed a majority against the war by the end of it.
Israel is fighting against Islamic fundamentalists who want to destroy it, I don’t think anyone opposes that, unless they are another Taliban.
The Palestinian human rights violations by Israel are to be condemned but they are not by any means a reason to call for it’s destruction. If Iranians want to pick on someone for human rights violation, I think they should first look at the mess we have at home.

At the exact same time that this guy was busy having sex with female slave captives that he kidnapped through various wars, in my country (The Persian Empire) a woman named Irandokht became Emperor. I hope the evil idology of islam which was forced onto our Persian ancestors will be destroyed in Iran soon. For us Iranians islam is the Arab cultural cololialism. Islam belongs to Arabs and other premitive people.
All arab nations are related to each other. From Egypt north Africa to Saudi Arabia, they are all cousins which belong to Hemetic (Egyptions,and other N.Africans) and/or Semitic races. We are Iranians, we are Indo-Europens (Aryans). We have our own religion, Zoroastrianism.

At the exact same time that this guy was busy having sex with female slave captives that he kidnapped through various wars, in my country (The Persian Empire) a woman named Irandokht became Emperor. After she passed away, her sister Pourandokht became her successor. So don’t give me that crap about Islam being too enlightened for it’s time.
Everywhere you look at the history of Islam, 30,000 people were killed in this city, 80,000 were killed in that city, 2,000 in this city, etc. 137,000 in the city of Tisphoon alone were beheaded before the entire city was burned including the library which at the time had around 40,000 books. In my ancestral city of Shoosh (Susa), when the Muslim army came they killed 40,000 people. And this is according to the history that they themselves wrote.

We Iranians, must wake up, it is the call of history. Don’t forget history and time is on Iranians side. The truth has come out. I have just come back from Iran to Europe, I must admit I have never seen such anti-Islamic feelings and ideas any where ells but Iran. It seems to me the Europeans are now more Islamic than Iranians, especially the British.
We Iranians must keep informing the non-Moslems about Islam and its evil nature.
