About

I am Azadeh and I have been living in Canada since 2005. Azadeh in Persian means freedom. I have a lovely, supportive, positive and hard to handle husband who has generously hosted me here.

As a female growing up in a loving, conservative and Moslem family, my great concerns are religion and women’s rights. Since I was 17, I was trying to look at Islam as a nonbeliever and to find the suspicious parts of my belief. Being married to an atheist and not wearing hijab, I don’t claim to be an ordinary Moslem.

These are the rules I believe in and try to follow in my life:

1- Nothing is absolute and I can talk about everything.

2- I try to behave in a way I would like to be treated.

Clearly my rules have been changed a lot since I have started to question every part of my belief. So these rules may change too.
